Preaching and Teaching Retreat

A retreat for lay and rostered leaders to connect over the 2026 summer camp theme and leave with a formulated plan for a 5 week preaching or teaching series. Choose one of three tracks: lay preaching development, clergy text study and conversation, Spanish speaking track. All participants will engage in conversation, learning and relaxation at camp! Connect your congregation to what campers studied throughout the summer. Infuse your congregation with different voices and stories of faith!

Picnic & Summer Staff Commissioning

We are kicking off the summer – join us for a few camp activities, a picnic lunch, and commissioning worship for our summer staff. Mark your calendars and join us for this free event!

Family & Friends Labor Day Retreat

Take a step back in time to explore the land of the dinosaurs and marvel at how the land we roam is the same land of the creatures that came long before us. Explore the impact that faith has had throughout the history of the world, and how it always finds a way! Enjoy making memories through interactive faith-building worship and Bible study, as well as your choice of camp activities like kayaking, hiking, making crafts, archery, the ropes course, rocking on the porch and more. Families will live in their own air-conditioned cabin with a shared central gathering room.

High School Gathering

God calls us to serve others! Join us to explore why service is so important, and how being a part of something bigger than yourself can strengthen your faith. Camp fun and interactive, faith-filled learning with other synod youth are all a part of The Gathering experience.  At least one adult from the church is required to be present the entire time. 

Youth will stay in cabins with youth from other churches and a same gendered adult from each church. Adults staying with youth must have a Protect My Ministry certificate or the equivalent. At least one adult from the church is required to be present the entire time.  Contact our office if you are having difficulty finding an adult to stay with your youth. 

*This retreat is running concurrently with the Middle School Gathering. High School students and Middle School students will need their own designated adult supervision.

The Lutheran Youth Leadership Experience (LYLE) is a program that combines leadership skill development, service and each individual’s God-given gifts and interests. In the context of camp, LYLEs experience challenging, experiential learning sessions designed to help them develop useful skills that will empower them as leaders.

Women’s Big R

Women’s Big R is all about Rest, Relaxation, and Rejuvenation. At this Wednesday to Saturday summer retreat you can enjoy faith-inspiring Bible studies and all of the camp activities you want! Faith and fun come together at Women’s Big R! Stay with other women in one of our comfortable quad cabins.
