Now for youth in grades 4-6!

Middle school youth are invited to come to camp to discover that following God is not about the glory, it’s about the cross.
Camp fun and interactive, faith-filled learning with other synod youth are all a part of The Gathering experience. Youth will stay in cabins with youth from other churches and Cross Trails staff, unless the church elects otherwise. At least one adult from the church is required to be present the entire time. Adults can stay in a cabin with other adults, or with the same gendered youth from their church if they have a Protect my Ministry certificate or the equivalent. Group registration is required.

What Does This Mean?!
Group Registration Only
What does the Lord’s Prayer mean, and why do we pray it?! Interactive experiences will enhance your congregational confirmation instruction as your youth explore the Lord’s Prayer. Everyone will gain a bigger view of the church as they play, study, and grow in faith with other confirmands. At least one adult sponsor is required to be present the entire time to help youth make the connection between camp and church. Youth will stay in the bunkhouse with staff supervision and adults will stay in Lela Haus. The retreat will be from Friday to Sunday morning. However, to accommodate those who must return to their congregations for Sunday worship, everything that happens after Saturday dinner will be recreational fellowship.
