Camp Chrysalis & Ebert Ranch

Explore a deeper level of faith, and put it into action!

Non-Lutherans are welcome!

Become a leader in your church, community, and the world!  Review your leadership skills and practice living and speaking your faith as a role model for younger campers.  Your first week will be at Ebert Ranch with other LYLE campers reviewing how to mentor and be a leader, and enjoying a day trip to the Llano River.  Your weekend and second week will be at Camp Chrysalis where you will help with younger camper groups during the day and then share and process your experience with your LYLE group in the evening.

Previous LYLE II Experience Required.

The Lutheran Youth Leadership Experience (LYLE) is a program that combines leadership skill development, service and each individual’s God-given gifts and interests. In the context of camp, LYLE’s experience challenging, experiential learning sessions designed to help them develop useful skills that will empower them as leaders.

Family Camp – Half Week Sessions!

Camp Chrysalis

The fun and faith-filled memories will last a lifetime! Get your own cabin and fill your day however you choose with activities for all ages.

Choose to swim, shoot archery, create crafts, canoe, fish, play camp games, hike, and have all kinds of camp fun! Older campers can enjoy night activities and challenge themselves on the ropes course, or try kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. All Chrysalis campers are immersed in fun and meaningful Christian community with interactive Bible study and camp-style worship as a part of each day.

Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins which circle a large playing field with a shaded sports court, ropes course, swimming pool, and more!

Family Camp A: Sunday to Wednesday
Family Camp B: Wednesday to Saturday

Household Maximum: $1,160

The Household Maximum for Family Camp applies to 2 adults over 18 years of age, and up to 8 minor children.  Additional adults are welcome, but must pay separately. All minors must be registered by their parents or legal guardians.

Grandparent Camp – Half Week Sessions!

Camp Chrysalis

Have faith-filled fun with your grandchildren! Share a cabin with your grandchildren and then let one of our camp staff help to make sure that there is something for everyone. You can choose to do as much or little as you please while your grandchildren enjoy a wide range of camp activities!

Choose to swim, shoot archery, create crafts, canoe, fish, play camp games, hike, and have all kinds of camp fun! Older campers can enjoy night activities and challenge themselves on the ropes course, or try kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. Women’s Big R is all about Rest, Relaxation, and Rejuvenation. At this Wednesday to Saturday summer retreat you can enjoy faith-inspiring Bible studies and all of the camp activities you want! Then enjoy a Friday night out at one of the Hill Country’s wonderful stage productions. Faith and fun come together at Women’s Big R! Stay with other women in one of our comfortable quad cabins.
